Woman charged in murder of man whose dismembered body was found in Kanagawa

KANAGAWA (majiriox news) — The girlfriend of Kanji Shimura whose butchered body parts were found stuffed in tote and paper bags in the city of Hiratsuka, Kanagawa prefecture, was arrested for his murder Oct. 25, Kanagawa prefectural police said.

Hiroko Nakayama, 55, who lived with Shimura, 66, allegedly dismembered him at their apartment about one or two months ago, police said.

The head, torso and other body parts were found during the week of Oct. 9 in Hiratsuka city. The head was wrapped in a plastic bag and towel and left near a bus stop. The torso was found at a parking lot near the bus stop and the legs were discovered at a shrine.

Police are currently questioning Nakayama who works in a nursing home about the motive.
