The victim’s boss became suspicion when the normally reliable employee did not show up for work and hadn’t called in for a week. He went to the employee’s house to check that he was all right.
He visited his employee’s first floor apartment in a residential city area in western Tokyo, at 10 a.m. The door was unlocked, so he walked in, and found his employee (also unnamed) lying naked and dead on his bed in a pool of blood, with multiple stab wounds to his neck, chest and stomach. He then called the emergency number and the police arrived.
After examining the room, and the Western-style bed, the police discovered the dead man’s severed penis under the bed and a knife in the next room, a Japanese-style room. The police experts judge that the killing took place about a week ago.
No other details have as yet been released regarding the incident.
